Protecting Our Rivers: A Partner Collab
In July, the Roaring Fork Conservancy hosted a series of dinners to ‘Bring People Together to Protect Our Rivers.’ Specifically, these dinners fostered connection and grew a stronger network of advocates who believe in and support the mission to inspire people to explore, value, and protect the Roaring Fork Watershed. To make these dinners happen, Roaring Fork Conservancy collaborated with some like minded partners: Free Range Kitchen, 32 Winds Wine, Woody Creek Distillers, some talented musicians, and ourselves, Premier Party Rental.
These dinners were a series of many small events, about 50 people per dinner, and ran through the month of July. In the past, Roaring Fork Conservancy hosted a large fundraiser event, but to keep things more intimate and manageable during COVID, they moved forward with this format this year. The dinners were mostly sold out and highlights included delicious catering by Free Range Kitchen paired with specialty cocktails from Woody Creek Distillers and wine from 32 Winds Wine.
Free Range Kitchen
Owners of Free Range Kitchen, Robin and Steve, share the environmental values and commitment to the local community that the Roaring Fork Conservancy also displays. These two organizations have been working together on other events, so it was a no-brainer to include them in the vision for these dinners. Per usual, everyone had a fantastic time working together, and even the guests can attest that it was a great and delicious experience!
32 Winds Wine and Woody Creek Distillers
Both 32 Winds Wine and Woody Creek Distillers have been longtime supporters of the Roaring Fork Conservancy’s work throughout the Roaring Fork Watershed. In fact, Woody Creek Distillers was the recipient of the 2018 Robert Billingsley River Conservators. Both companies are known for being extremely passionate about water conservation and consciousness, also making them a no-brainer to partner with.
Premier Party Rental
We are extremely dedicated to our community, and do everything we can do to support amazing organizations like the Roaring Fork Conservancy. We were honored to be included in these events and are amazed at the efforts put forth by our community to conserve our water and environment.
Roaring Fork Conservancy Development Director, Sheryl Sabandal, said “It was our hope that through these dinners people could come together with like-minded river stewards and learn more about the work we do throughout the entire Roaring Fork Watershed! We’re very pleased to report that our goals were realized – and everyone had a lot of fun!”
The Roaring Fork Conservancy, and all partners involved, believe that by educating and empowering the community and by serving as a voice for our rivers – together we can ensure that the natural vitality of our watershed will be enjoyed by future generations.
