Tenting as Unique as Your Event

5 Ways to Dress Up Our Tents

Tenting is more than just a cover over your guests. It is a canvas to express the vibe of your event, set the tone of your wedding, or convey the pride of a graduation ceremony. There’s no reason to not run a little wild here… Use lights, play with different textures and fabrics, and maximize and embrace the tent’s natural shape. Dress it up, dress it down, but make sure that your tent rental does the talking so you can do the partying.

1. Tent Liner and Walls

The secret to acheiving effortless grace, femininity, and elegance to your tent? A tent liner. They look great on their own, but pair really well with chandeliers and hanging foliage. We also love the luxurious side walls we can create with liner along the exterior of our Losberger Clearspan Tenting. We’re essentially hiding the tent’s structural elements and then dressing them up with some ribbon or foliage. Pro tip: The look achieved in the second two photos above is from styled tent walls instead of from a true tent liner. This is a great way to have a little security against rain while also achieving a classic look. Win-win.

2. Flags

Flags are such a fun way to make your event unique and totally you. Check out how this couple took our Sailcloth tenting to new levels by incorporating flags. Inside, they draped flag banners from the ceiling. Outside, we topped the peaks with custom pirate flags. Get more deets on this award-winning day here: Snippet and Ink’s Best Weddings of 2016.

3. Chandeliers

Hanging chandeliers from the ceiling of your tent brings traditional indoor elements outside. There are so many different looks you can achieve with chandeliers – it’s one of those things you can really run wild and have fun with. We especially love how hanging lights look dressed up with some extra greenery. Our Antler Chandeliers are also one of our most popular choices for rustic chic weddings and corporate events.

4. Twinkle Lights

Twinkle Lights are the gift that keeps on giving. They make any reception magical, are classy without being pretentious, and photograph beautifully so you will truly be able to enjoy them for years to come.

5. Foliage

Check out how Bluebird Productions and Carolyn’s Flowers used greenery (and those ahhhmazing crystal chandeliers) to create a lush, garden-party space underneath our Losberger Clearspan Tenting.  We are loving how our Mahogany Chiavari Chairs work with the greenery here to create depth and an Earthy gradient. My sister is planning to hold her wedding reception outdoor. Therefore, I’m currently helping her to look for party tents that she and her husband can rent. By the way, your suggestion of hanging chandeliers from the ceiling seems like a fabulous idea, maybe my sister might consider this.
